Constructed entirely of naturally dyed cottons.

The black is produced with a 3 step process repeated twice to create a deep black on cotton flannel. The buttercream color was made from tannin, and the various colors made with natural dyes either by themselves or over-dyed. Natural dye materials include indigo, logwood, fustic wood, iron, madder root, and cutch.

Hand quilted with a combination of black and onion skin dyed Sashiko thread. Hand bound with the same naturally dyed black cotton flannel.

Over 95 hours in handwork this beauty was made with love to be cherished on a wall or snuggled on a bed for generations.
